Erdenheim Farm For a 446 acre working cattle farm which flanks the Wissahickon Creek for about a mile, the floodplain of the creek is being converted to native meadows, the stream buffer increased and replanted in riparian trees and shrubs. A detailed analysis of how to maximize the best views and buffer the property from development resulted in a plan which gives privacy and locations for enjoyment of nature. This is not just a visual issue, as a greater buffer, native meadow and plantings will improve water quality and give sanctuary to wildlife. Erdenheim Farm History web site
